After working together for the last few years, Sport Pesa Racing Point have announced their pleasure to continue their relationship with us for another year running.
The F1 team, Sport Pesa Racing Point, is on the up. With fresh energy and investment the team has big ambitions for 2019 and beyond. Having launched in Canada in February, the team presented a new driver line-up with skilful Lance Stroll joining accomplished Sergio Perez this season. They will lead the charge as the team aims to establish its position at the front of the intense midfield fight.
We are delighted to continue to provide services that enable the Sport Pesa Racing Point F1 team to receive unbeatable connectivity when competing worldwide. This includes connectivity between their HQ at Silverstone and testing facilities such as the wind tunnel. As a result, this allows the data to go back to the factory promptly so that improvements and adjustments can be made to the car.
Bill Peters, Chief of IT at Sport Pesa Racing Point said: “We have an excellent working relationship with Voip Unlimited and continue to rely on them for our connectivity requirements between the factory and wind tunnel. Voip Unlimited know the F1 environment well and deliver reliable networks that we can rely on.”
Mark Pillow, Managing Director of Voip Unlimited said: “We have been a data provider to the newly named Sport Pesa Racing Point F1 Team for 9 years now, ensuring their data runs from their wind tunnel to HQ efficiently. Every millisecond counts in F1, therefore we specialise in robust infrastructure to make that possible. The team are able to deliver to such high standards year after year and we are immensely privileged to be a part of experience.”
